Aside from the few left that are good - Van Halen, Bon Jovi,
Scorpions, Pendragon and a few others, nothing comes close to this.
I like music from 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s very few from 90s (only those
mentioned above) and almost none from 00s (aside from few above), so
what is it that is missing?
I found good music from all the other eras but when I think 90s & 00s
I want to hack and its like nothing worthy existed (aside from the few
above), there just was a bundle of great music in the 80s that still
hasn't been equalled.
Elvis of course can't be surpassed but he's the king.
The melodies & rhythms just grab you and possess you from this song -
but it was all the rock bands of the 80s that were putting this "Spell
music" out such as songs by Van Halen "Jump" Bon Jovi "Living On A
Prayer" Scorpions "Always Somewhere", Night Ranger "Sister Christian",
none of the bands of the 90s or 00s have produced music that has the
possessive effect that these bands did and the songs mentioned.
I can find such songs going backwards through the other eras, but not
in the 90s or 00s, something is desperately wrong with music today and
in the 90s is when it started.
